This page is the monthly cost to keep your fleet running well after we have already built and shipped it. It does not include the build itself. Models update, APIs change, the business shifts. A retainer is what keeps the fleet sharp without you re-hiring an engineer every quarter.

When Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini ships a new version, we re-test your prompts and migrate the agents. When Klaviyo, Shopify, or QuickBooks ships a breaking API change, we fix it before it hits production.

Retainer FAQ

Do I have to be a Cronk Ai Agents build client to take a retainer?

Yes. The retainer covers post-launch operations of agents we built for you. If you have an existing fleet built elsewhere, we can scope a custom audit and migration first.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Cancel from your Stripe billing portal or by emailing [email protected]. No long-term contract. The agent code and prompts stay with you.

What happens if I exceed my monthly hours?

We flag the burn rate at 75 percent of the cap and check in with you before you blow past it. Overage is billed at $200 per hour, only after you approve. We will not surprise you with a bill.

Do unused hours roll over?

Yes, on Operator (rolls to 25) and Fleet (rolls to 45). Essentials does not roll hours because the support model is async monthly check-ins, not project-based work.

Does the retainer cover API usage costs?

No. Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, and other API costs are passed through at cost on your own accounts. We help you monitor and optimize them as part of the retainer hours.

Can I upgrade or downgrade later?

Yes. Most clients start at Essentials or Operator and move up as the fleet grows. Tier changes are prorated and take effect immediately.

What if I just want a one-time tune-up, not a monthly retainer?

We offer a fixed-scope audit and tune-up package, typically $1,500 to $3,000 depending on fleet size. Email [email protected] with a short description of what you have running and what is broken.
